Yamaha YPT-330 Review
The Yamaha YPT 330 is a basic beginner's keyboard. If you're looking for a keyboard for a child and you're on a budget, this one is worth checking out. If you're just starting out on the keyboard, or if you're just looking to have some fun without having to spend too much, the YPT-33O might do. It can be bought for the low price of about $160.00. There is also the option of buying it with a stand, power supply and headphones for about $190.00. Go here to check out the Yamaha YPT-330 keyboard.

The Yamaha YPT330 comes with a total of 497 voices. This includes 5 chinese voices. You will also find preset dual voices, like Piano plus Synth Pad. For a keyboard of its class, the voices are pretty good. There are 106 accompaniment styles as well. Select an accompaniment style and play along, as if it were a full band playing. Yamaha's accompaniments have always been one of my favorite features. This feature is great for teaching beginners and students about various genres/styles of music. To enhance your performance, there are various voice effects on the YPT 330.
This keyboard is built with students in mind. It comes with the popular and valuable Y.E.S. (Yamaha Education Suite) feature. With this feature you learn how to play the keyboard. With the "Keys to Success" lesson functions you can practice preset songs using more advanced lesson functions. You can practice single song parts, correct notes and the timing of these notes. One feature I really like on the Yamaha YPT-330 is the Ultra Wide Stereo feature. You can turn this feature on and off with the press of a button, and it basically gives the impression that the speakers are spread farther out to your sides, rather than being inside the keyboard. I find it to be a good option.
Thinking of recording yourself? This is possible. There is an Easy Recording feature that allows you to record up to five of your own songs. You can save them on the keyboard. This feature is great for practicing as well as composing.
You can put your keyboard in full piano mode with the touch of a Portable Grand Button. Nice feature on Yamaha YPT/ portable keyboards.
The keyboard has a function that turns it off automatically when it hasn't been played for a set period of time. This is a nice feature particularly if you're operating your keyboard via batteries.
