Yamaha YPP 200 wont turn on

No longer powers up. I hear a noise in the speakers when I hit the power button on but that's it, no display no sound. Thanks for your help.

Get to the owners manual to check if in MIDI settings "local control" is turned off (turn it "ON" if needed). If local control is off: then the keyboard does not control the sounds, but external MIDI does, which means: no sound when you press a key. hope this helps. God bless you.
