Yamaha PSR-S500 Lines In Display

My display has lines through it. Same thing happened with my PSR-S550B last year. Did some research, and the problem is common to keyboards in this series. It is the result of poor solder connections to the display from a circuit board.


To replace the display is both difficult and expensive.

Anybody else have this problem?
