Yamaha P70 Digital Piano fault

Hi,

I am repairing a Yamaha P70 Digital Piano and wonder if it has a common problem. The piano plays any of the demo tunes fine, but when switched to straight keyboard mode it won't play anything. This sounds like it could be a basic problem such as a master reset, but I am unable to do this as the keys are not working. Can anyone advise me of where I could start?
