Yamaha P-120S Has no sound

We have owned this keyboard for about 12 years. Now it has stopped producing sound. If I plug in an amplifier I can get barely audible sound if I really crank the amp up - but that comes with a lot of hiss and distortion.
Is there anything I can do to get the native piano sound functioning properly again?
