yamaha mo6 saving performances

I am trying to save user set performances on Yamaha MO6. It works until the power is shut of then it resets. I think I am following the manual to a T. Any help.

I had the same issue when I first got my MO6. It is likely that your keyboard is set so that every time you power up, it restores the factory settings. In other words, you are saving your performances correctly, but every time you power up the factory settings are restored and overwrite your changes.

See page 26 in the owners manual. To fix it, you punch UTILITY and then JOB. You then need to "uncheck" the "Power-On Auto" button. Then press ENTER and INC/YES to save the setting. Your MO6 will now "remember" not to restore factory settings when you boot up.
