Yamaha M1 Playcard System

I have a Yamaha M1 play card system. When turning it on the keyboard works great and all lights lite up, but the play card side of the organ does not light and does not work at all. Any suggestions? I have tried holding down the last buttons that were suggested in the forum but did not work.
