I am about to purchase a dgx640. To get it home I've got to remove the keyboard from the stand. Looking at the assembly instructions in the manual, it is very precise about telling you to install the keyboard on the stand keeping the keyboard in a level position. Are they telling me that the instrument must not be tipped or upended at any time? I remember reading that in assembling a Clavinova, your told to set the keyboard on its back end it a vertical position and then bring the stand to the bottom and secure it to the keyboard.
