Yamaha DGX200 - Bass Notes - Soft

Yamaha DGX200. The bass notes - lower end of the keyboard - are very soft and lack any punch or volume. Can this be corrected and if so - how? I would be extremely grateful to receive any assistance or advice. Kind regards, Neil
