Yamaha CVP-303 LCD DISPLAY QUESTION

I have a cvp-303 and the screen goes blue. I can read it but the LCD backlit light is not working. Can anyone suggest a way to fix this?

Your CCFL tube has gone. You can replace the little display tube with a led strip and power it with your own power supply. You can cut the strip to fit, doesn't matter if it's a bit longer than the original tube.

Ensure you are familiar with opening the front panel and installing it back.

I have the same blank screen problem with a CVP 405. The contrast control is not the answer in my situation. Anyone have further advice?

Our CVP-309 display has vertical lines and messed up characters on the display now. The piano functions fine, just the display is messed up. Does anyone know what may cause this and what the fix might be? Not sure if it's a replacement PCB module, a loose wire cable harness bundle or something like that. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Called out a digital piano technician who found a break in a wire in one of the wiring looms. Fixed by soldering it and now works well.

I have a CVP-403 and the display is very dim, and now I can't access any Voices other than the default Grand Piano, nor any other settings. Any ideas, please?

My CVP 303's LCD screen isn't working. I have to keep tapping it and then it works for a while before going blank. I have had this problem now for a month. Purchased my CVP in 2009, it worked fine until now. Do you suggest calling a Yahmaha technician? There has not been a resolution to this problem on the threads that I have seen so far.

You might try rotating the LCD contrast control located to the upper left of the screen. The screen looks blank/blue if the setting is too low.
