Yamaha CVP 94 Won't Play Pre-recorded Discs

My cvp 94 won’t play pre-recorded discs. When I insert a disc, it wants to initialize it. Is there an easy fix or is an expensive repair in order?

What style of prerecorded disc will not work? Are they Yamaha brand discs, and if so are they specifically Disc Orchestra Collection discs? Or are they discs recorded on another keyboard?
