Pen drives for Yamaha s550

I have a transcend pen drive which works alright with a PC but fails to work with my S550. I follow the instructions in the manual but still the pen drive is not detected and light doesnt come on. Do we need to use specific(make) pen drives for yamaha?

Hi! I also have a pendrive that i have already formated at the PC and the S-550 doesn't read the pen! I also have formated the pen at the keyboard s-550, but then, when i connected to the PC to copy some files to the pen i had to format the pen at the PC...i don't know how to solve this...

I AM USING PSR A3 MODEL. NO FLOPPY DRIVE AND PEN DRIVE. ANY INSTRUMENT WHICH IS HAVING FLOPPY DRIVE CAN ATTACH THIS INSTRUMENT TO FUNCTION LIKE ADVANCED MODEL LIKE S550.

WITHOUT GOING IN FOR NEW MODEL CAN WE ATTACH FLOPPY DRIVE OR PENDRIVE WITH PSR A3 MODEL. IF POSSIBLE, HOW?

follow these steps:

format your pen drive using a computer. (it should be formatted using FAT file system).

now it will work fine with your keyboard.

My PSR-S550 use USB Flash Disk Transcend jetflash 128MB no problem to store and play styles and song on it.
