How to use a floppy disk on Yamaha Clavinova CVP 207

I am confused on how to start using a floppy disk on my clavinova cvp 207. The manual directions say to insert the floppy and then to punch certain buttons, however when I insert the floppy and press any button/s, nothing happens. It doesn’t bring up the floppy on the screen. What am I doing or not doing wrong?
