Hi Rooky,

Recording: your manual will tell you how to do this.
The easiest way is the quick recording method.
If you don't have a manual go to:
yamaha.co.jp/manual/english/index.php

Creating your own styles has everything to do with recording on the various channels so you have to learn that first.
You have to be an excellent musician/composer and you need very good equipment and software + a lot of time.
The full-time professional teams at Yamaha with the best studio's work sometimes for weeks to make 1 style.
On PSRTUTORIAL.COM - styles - you will find many thousands of styles free to download.
