convert UK Yamaha Clavinova to US power input

I would like to convert my CLP-440, boutght in the UK, to run on US electrical grid. Currently I am running it off an external transformer. WHat do I need to do to the insides, so that that I can plug it into the wall directly? Does it involve extensive de-soldering, or is just a matter of unplugging an internal transformer and replacing it with a generic part?
