Can Euro Yamaha CLP-840 be stepped down from 230v to U.S. voltage?

Shipped from Italy to US. Has no dial to switch voltages. Aside from external transformer, how is it possible to change from Euro 230v to 110/120v?

Thanks!

Can Euro Yamaha CLP-840 be stepped down from 230v to U.S. voltage?

It is not possible to step down the voltage on a Yamaha CLP-840 keyboard from 230v to 110/120v without using an external voltage transformer. The voltage for the keyboard is determined by the internal components of the keyboard, and cannot be changed without modifying the hardware.

To use the Yamaha CLP-840 keyboard in the United States, you will need to use an external voltage transformer to convert the voltage from 230v to 110/120v. These devices are widely available and can be purchased at electronics stores or online.

It is important to note that using an external voltage transformer will not modify the internal components of the keyboard, and the keyboard will still be designed to operate at 230v. Therefore, it is important to use the transformer every time you use the keyboard in the United States to ensure that it is operating at the correct voltage.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
